My journey into DJing began quite spontaneously. My local tango community in Bosnia needed another DJ, and as a student with plenty of free time, curiosity, and a passion for exploration, I stepped in. The rest, as they say, is history. The deeper I ventured into tango music—especially the richness of the Golden Age—the more fascinated I became. Since then, my goal has been to honor both the music and the dancers through every set I play. I believe that a great milonga is created when every dancer feels included in the musical conversation. For that reason, I strive to build sets that offer something for everyone, paying attention not only to those on the dance floor but also to the overall atmosphere and energy in the room. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of DJing at numerous local milongas in Belgrade and Bosnia, as well as at larger events such as the Sarajevo Tango Festival, sharing my passion for tango music with dancers from different communities and backgrounds. DJing has become both a passion and a responsibility. The more experience I gain behind the DJ booth, the stronger my commitment becomes to understanding the dancers and the unique energy of each event. When I am DJing, I try to listen carefully—not only to the music, but also to the ronda itself. By observing the mood, energy, and needs of the dancers, I aim to create a musical journey that feels natural, engaging, and memorable for everyone on the floor. For me, every milonga is a dialogue between music and dancers, and every tanda is an opportunity to create a shared moment of connection.
